Most respected breeders will offer buyers both medical and social background information on the mothers and fathers of the puppies, as well as documentation of the medical status (in terms of general health and vaccinations administered) of the puppy. Once you have purchased your golden retriever puppy, you will have to raise and train it just like any other puppy.
